I’d like to think with me what you see is what you get. I’m genuine, funny, loyal, and have an extremely good work ethic. I’m normally super busy trying to make sure I’m kicking goals on all fronts in my life and living life to its fullest. I’m also quite mature for my age, which has helped me to come quite far in my career already.

What are your interests?

My main interest is dairy farming – it’s more than just a job to me, it’s my greatest passion and what gets me out of bed in the morning! Otherwise, I enjoy catching up with my mates and going to live shows, like music and comedy festivals – laughing is a great thing. I take any opportunity to travel. There’s nothing like travel to change your perspective and teach you things about yourself – it’s life changing, it’s magic.

What is your favourite music / musician / band?

Lately I have developed a strong liking for 80s music and music made in the early 2000’s. Alternatively, I get into whatever song I hear on the radio or social media that gets stuck in my head at the time.

What is your favourite movie and why?

I enjoy watching drama, scary and humorous movies. I love the movies ‘Red Dog’ and ‘War Horse’ – I really relate to the way they show the connection between people and their animals.

What sort of partner are you looking for?

I’m looking for someone to do life with! I want the other half to my team… I’d love her to have an eventful and successful life/career and to merge it with mine and kick goals together, then raise a little tribe on the farm. She doesn’t have to be a farmer but if she was that would allow us to take our passion, wealth, and career anywhere we want to. Ideally, she’d have a clear understanding of the commitment that’s involved with farming. This doesn’t mean the farm is a priority over our relationship though, it’s about finding the right balance. We need to have that spark and build a genuine connection for it to be worthwhile.

What age partner are you looking for?

I can’t say age is a priority for me but if I had to give a range, I’d say 18-26. It’s not a hard and fast rule though.

What values are you looking for in a partner?

I’m looking for someone humorous, with a strong work ethic. Someone with loyalty, passion, selflessness, determination, courage, tolerance. Someone who is trustworthy and who understands my dedication to my work.

What is important to you in a relationship?

Farming is a lifestyle and in my case it’s also my hobby and my passion. Ideally, I’d like to share that with my partner directly so that we’re in the same magical industry. I understand compromises need to be made in relationships, but I’m hoping that when it comes to the farm, we can see eye to eye. Replicating my grandparents’ kind and lasting relationship would be the ideal!

How would you describe yourself in a relationship?

Very caring, respectful, and a giver. If you’re my missus, you are the queen and everyone in my life will know how special you are to me.

What qualities do you bring to relationships?

I’m loyal, dedicated, I’m always having fun – never a dull moment on the dairy! I’m a good listener and I would really try to understand my partner’s perspective and see her side in every situation.

What is the most romantic thing you’ve ever done?

I don’t know if it’s more romantic or crazy but back in high school, I asked my girlfriend out by writing the question on a dirty wall (covered in cow manure) with a pressure cleaner haha! I like the idea of surprising people and leaving them thinking “woweee he did this for me!”.

What values do you pride yourself on most?

I pride myself on goal setting and achieving. For example, the work I’ve done to help progress the farm as much as it has in such a short period of time. Also, the relationships I’ve developed within the industry. If I can find a love that’s even more rewarding than the relationships I’ve built with other farmers & service providers then holy cow, we are in for a magical future!

Who are you closest to in your family?

My cousin Shane – he’s the brother I never had, I can go to him with anything and he’ll always give me honest advice. I’m also really close with my Nanna and she’s my mentor when it comes to business.

Do you have any children?

No

Would you like to have children? If so, how soon after meeting the right person?

The sooner the better, I want to be the young, energetic father taking the kids to school. I want as many years as possible to watch my kids thrive into amazing humans and I want to make sure I’m around so their children have grandparents! Obviously, we need to be in a stable, steady situation before we try for children. When we’re ready, I reckon two to three kids would be a happy medium between having a big, wholesome family without pulling our hair out trying to juggle it all.

What is the most interesting thing about you?

It would have to be how much dedication and energy I’m prepared to invest in something I care about, particularly when it comes to farming. I’d bring the same dedication to my future partner and family. I’m also quite unique in how little sleep I can run off to keep on top of all this!

Where would you like to be in five years’ time?

Still working here, having achieved all my five-year goals for the farm (which I won’t bore you with right now). Also, I would like to have travelled to Iceland and maybe Africa (in particular Egypt). On top of this, I’d like to be married and have our first child on the ground and be planning for the second.

What is your philosophy on love?

Love is supposed to be easy and magical. By ‘easy’ I mean, you can get through anything when you’re both working towards the same goals in life. Where there is a will, there is a way. Overcoming challenges with a real partner is easier than having to face them alone. And by ‘magical’, I mean I’m ready to feel blown away every day by the fact that I get to do life with this special person.

What would you like to say to anyone thinking of applying to meet you?

You’re in for a full-on life if you’re living it with me! We’ll live life to the max in the fast lane – conquer and achieve as much as we can in our lives. Rest assured it won’t always be 100% about the farm lifestyle – travel gets me super excited as well. I’m looking to really do life with somebody and live every day like it’s our last.
